SEPP is owned and operated by Steve Saterbo and Jay Javetz. Located within 50 miles of the Jacksonville, FL port, we offer full service export and logistical services.

Serving You, Our Customer, Since 1958
Steve Saterbo is the second generation of his family to be in the meat industry. He began his career working under the tutelage of his father Richard “Dick” Saterbo who started Colorado Boxed Beef Company in 1975. Steve ran the sales division growing sales from $50 million to $210 million. He grew into the role of Chief Financial Officer in 2001 becoming the largest shareholder of Colorado Boxed Beef until May 2015.
Jay Javetz is the fourth generation of his family in the meat processing business. He joined the family business in 1992, then called Atlantic Meat Co in Savannah, Ga. There he grew from warehousing to upper management, running production at levels of 80,000-100,000lbs daily. Jay has been trained extensively in the USDA implemented HACCP program and has a deep knowledge of quality control and production coordination.
